How Are Orders Shipped?

Orders are shipped via US Priority Mail or UPS. You may select your choice at checkout.


How is shipping price calculated?

Shipping prices are calculated based on your order volume (weight), location, and shipping preference. At checkout, the actual costs from USPS or UPS are calculated and displayed–there is no handling cost added.


Are orders taxed?

We follow local sales tax regulations. Depending on your shipping location, orders may or may not be taxed. For California residents, food to go is not taxed, but merchandise like mugs or T-shirts are taxed. Also, please note, that our coffee prices do NOT include tax.


Where is my order?

If you received a shipping confirmation via email, please refer to that. Otherwise, please call us at (415) 635-2790 or email us at orderz@philzcoffee.com, and we will help you track your order and/or resend the shipping confirmation email.


I have a subscription and I would like to change it, what should I do?

Please send us an email at orderz@philzcoffee.com and we’ll do everything we can to help you alter your subscription.


Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we do ship internationally. Please remember that shipping rates for international shipments are much higher than domestic shipments.


Do you sell/accept gift cards online?

Yes, we do accept gift cards online, however, we have a different gift card system for in-store and online purchases. If you run into any issues using a gift card, please email us at orderz@philzcoffee.com.


What if I have a question about my order or shipping?

What are your refund/return/cancellation policies?

Our goal is to satisfy. Please call or email us if you experience any problems with your order and we will make sure that you are satisfied.


What if I bring my own mug?

First off, thank you! We strive to be as environmentally-friendly as possible here at Philz. Second, to show our appreciation, you will be charged the price of a small beverage, no matter the size of the cup (up to 24oz).


Do you donate to non-profit organizations?

Yes, we do donate to non-profit organizations. Currently we donate to organizations that are 501(c)(3) certified but hope to expand in the future. Why do you have different menus in stores?
