COVID-19 Update: We are humbled to Better Days at Philz. Our mission will always remain unchanged, but we continue to evolve how we're serving our community during this time, with our priority being on team member & customer safety. We’ve partnered with medical professionals to create protocols to protect the health of our Team Members and customers.

 

Our stores are operating in a contactless model experience. We strongly encourage use of our Philz Mobile App to pre-order and pre-schedule pick up. We have two lines - one for customer mobile pick up, and one for walk up customers. Our team remains in a designated team member area that is sectioned off from customers and allows for social distancing. These areas are also covered in plexiglass. 

 

Our daily operations and safety protocols include:  

  • Philz Safety Training and commitments to uphold safety procedures 
  • Rigorous cleaning and sanitation procedures
  • Masks and gloves provided, and clear expectations 
  • Daily symptoms and temperature checks for our Team Members

Shift Supervisors ensure that our community—team members and customers alike—always have an exceptional Philz experience. 

 

  • Play to your team’s strengths by putting the right people in the right places at the right times.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers and the local community.
  • Always be looking for ways to improve the Philz experience.
  • Assess the performance of your team members, including service and drink quality.
  • Lead by example and consistently demonstrate what it means to be a great team player.
  • Inspire, encourage and engage your team with positive support and excellent communication.
  • Hold team members accountable to their scheduled shifts, ensure that called out shifts are covered, and breaks/lunches are given.
  • Proactively give feedback to help your team thrive.
  • Communicate performance of team members to Store Leaders and other Shift Supervisors to ensure consistency.
  • Support promotions and new hires through in-store training.
  • Help your Store Leader in executing operations and administrative duties.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

  • Ability to operate machinery and make general observations in regards to safety and accuracy of work using visual acuity
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for a minimum of 3 hours
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and kneel
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to grasp, finger, and reach
  • Ability to express or exchange information by means of the spoken word
  • Ability to lift 3 pounds to shoulder height repetitively
